Mrs. Ada Barker, 71, one of Howard County's oldest settlers died at her home in Big Spring. Mrs. Barker was well known in Baird where she often visited her cousin, Mrs. Andrew Jackson. Mrs. Jackson and her daughter, Mrs. Pat Haley went to Big Spring to attend the funeral. Survived by one daughter - Mrs. Williams Dellinger; one son - Clifton Tucker; three grandchildren.
