Funeral services for Mrs. Lee "Nanna" Bordelon will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery #2. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville.
Mrs. Bordelon, Age 87 of Marksville, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Valley View Health Care Facility in Marksville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Bordelon, Jr., Parents, Daniel and Gretchen Spencer, three brothers, Van, Charles, and Bill Fowler, and one sister, Frances F. Moreau.
Survivors include her daughter, Gretchen LaBorde of Marksville, one brother, Addison Fowler of Hammond, three grandchildren, Dede Lemoine and husband Shayne, Frances Traugott and husband David, Steven "Doomie" LaBorde and wife Kim, she also has seven great grandchildren who will serve as honorary pallbearers, Hannah Lemoine, Reagan Lemoine, Madison Traugott, Connor Traugott, Gavin Traugott, Keelan LaBorde, and Kaylee LaBorde.
Visitation will be held at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
