Mrs. Winifred V. Hoekstra - 2232 Sycamore Lane, passed away Tuesday December 14, (1971) at Bronson Hospital.
Mrs. Hoekstra was born July 10, 1896 in Kalamazoo, daughter of John W. and Kate Kalleward VanderSalm. Graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School and Western State Normal School and taught in the White Pigeon, Battle Creek and Kalamazoo schools. Was married to Theodore F. Hoekstra, July 18, 1922.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Jack; brother, Harold VanderSalm; two grandsons, John and David Hoekstra; an aunt, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Member of the Second Reformed Church and the Fine Arts Club.
