Born here July 12, 1900, daughter of Henry C. and Bertha (Gurney) Packard, she lived here all her life and was a member of the Plainfield Grange. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Robert W of Dalton and Frank L of Plainfield; her mother Mrs Bertha Packard of Mellenville, N.Y.; a brother William Packard of this town; two sisters Mrs Alan P Carpenter of Utica, N.Y. and Mrs Harold Kendrack of Mellenville, N.Y. and a grandchild. The funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. in Plainfield Congregational church Rev. Sylvester P Robinson officiating. Burial will be in West Cummington Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Leslie L Porter funeral home of Cummington. The family requests no flowers.
