She was born Nov. 12, 1919, in Beloit, Ohio, and lived most of her life in the Alliance area.
Virginia was a high school graduate, a homemaker, volunteered at Mount Union College and worked part-time at Sivey's Gift Shop. She was an avid reader, who had an inquisitive mind. She loved to cook … and cherished all of her daughter's golden retriever puppies.
Virginia was a member of Union Avenue United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Reed of Cleveland; sister, Elaine Hartenstein; brothers, Robert (Jean) Aebi of Alliance, Willard Aebi of Mount Vernon and Elmer Aebi of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Eugene Williams, who died in 1992.
Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
