Thora Adams, age 79, of Broxton, GA passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Adams was born on February 11, 1935, in Dramore, Ireland to the late William Ward and Margaret Ward.
Survivors include: her five sons, Peter John (Angela) Adams, Timothy James (former wife Janie Sweat) Adams, Stephen Mark (Penny) Adams, Paul Andrew ( Fran) Adams, and David William (Kimberly) Adams, two sisters, Rosemary Ward of Birkenhead, England and Elizabeth Bradley of Griffin, GA, brother, David Ward of Birkenhead, England, fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, six nieces and nephews and one great niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Adams.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Morningside Baptist Church. Interment followed at Adams Family Cemetery.
