Born Jan 19,1914, Big Ivy Community, to Ed & Ethel Palmer Anders, the oldest of four children. William J (Jeff), Ethel Marie and Burnice Eugene (Gene)

Married Mildred Hughey Anders in 1947 and was the proud father of two daughters, Helen R. and Judith K. Asia was an avid golfer, loved being with his friends and meeting new ones. He never met a stranger, never turned away anyone in need, never failed to make people laugh, and lived his life to the fullest. Earlier years could find him, Uncle Jeff and "hound dog" buddies in the woods, camping and listening to their fox hounds give chase, sometimes for days. Asia would take his small daughters with him when possible and they loved it all. Never was there a time when he wasn't teaching his children and many others, the joy of riding a horse, milking a cow, or going "snipe" hunting. Asia was a man that brought happiness to all those he came in contact with.

His two grandchildren, Scott Cagle and Laura Booth, were so very much a part of his heart. Scott was and is very much like his grandfather and loved him so much, they had a bond that never needed words. Laura was just a baby when her grandfather died, but oh how much he loved her and couldn't wait to pick her up and love her.

Our Husband, Daddy and Grandfather is greatly missed but lives on in our hearts and memories.

Mildred, Helen, Judy, Scott, Laura and son-in-law Wiley.
