Shirley married Maynard William Krueger on Apr. 1, 1950 in Muscatine, IA. They had eight children: Beverly Ann 1952-1992, Sherry Lynn 1954-1991, Pamela Marie June 19, 1955, Douglas 1957-1958, Linda Sue 1970-1970 and Keith Brian b. May 10, 1962, Connie Jean b. abt. 1951, and Wayne, before Maynard passed away. She next married Trent Candor who passed away in 1981. When the family headstone was placed there was a place for Shirley put on the stone. That space was not used when she passed away. She was instead buried in another cemetery and shares a headstone with her third husband Phillip D. Steele.
On June 28, 1985 she married Phillip Dale Steele. Her parents were Maurice Beeding and Martha Adams Beeding. The Iowa Marriages Index clearly shows Shirley Marie Candor marrying Phillip Dale Steele mother Marie Adams and father Maurice Beeding. I have been unable to find marriage records for Trent and Shirley, but it was a very short marriage happening between 1979 and Feb. 1981. Shirley was born in Duncan, Ill. which is no longer found.
Trent Candor was evidently married previously to Shirley to Lucy Ann Mottor. I have not found either marriage or divorce records on that marriage, but in Lucy's obit it mentions she out lived three husbands with Trent Candor being one of them.
Shirley's daughter Beverly Ann married James Greenwald and they had a daughter Mindy Jo born May 26, 1971 and passed away Aug.21, 2009. She is FAG #41309828. She married Don Law Jr. Oct. 20, 2005. Shirley's daughter Pam first married James Brian Alloway (FAG # 37864725) on Oct. 6, 1972 in Muscatine, whom she divorced and then married Herbert F. Sprankle on Oct. 20, 1974 in Virginia Beach, VA. On Dec. 16, 1983 she married Paul Lyn Knapp in Muscatine, IA., whom she remained married to until he passed away on Dec. 21, 2014. Keith first married Belinda Sue Burke on April 8, 1983 in Musatine and he later married Lori Leann Troxel on Sept. 16, 1989 in Musatine. When Shirley passed away Keith's wife was mentioned as Faith so he may have married a third time. Connie married a Strong. Wayne had passed away before his mother's death.
Even though Shirley has a place on this headstone she is not buried in Masonic Cemetery in Muscatine, where the above headstone is located. She is buried in Grandview Cemetery in Lyons Co., IA. See FAG #82918765 for more information.
