Agnes Lovin "Miss Agnes" Wells, age 98, of Winder, Georgia passed away July 17, 2016. Miss Agnes was born March 30, 1918 in Carl, Georgia to the late Joe Bartow and Mary Head Lovin. She was preceded by Her Husband, Lawrence Wells on October 3, 2002. At the time of her death, Miss Agnes was the oldest living member of The First Baptist Church of Carl. Miss Agnes and Lawrence Wells were married in 1951 at the home of Rev. Claud Healan, Sr. Her Mother, Mary Lovin founded the W. M. U. at the First Baptist Church of Carl.
