Edward graduated from Erie Tech High School, and then went on to serve in the United States Army Air Corp. As a master electrician, he was employed by and managed Rinderle Electric, for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Julia Church for over 60 years, and was a member of The American Legion, Millcreek Post #773. He enjoyed boating and fishing, and loved traveling, especially to Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years Patricia Goodman, in 2012; his brother Joseph Abramczyk; and two sisters, Florence Pozzutti and Wanda DeDionisio.
Edward is survived by five children, Nancy Kulhanek and her husband Keith of Erie, Douglas Abramczyk and his wife Karen of Virginia, Jeff Abramczyk and his wife Petra of Florida, Erin Grack of Erie and Ed Abramczyk and his wife Deb of Virginia. He is further survived by thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his two sisters, Mary Ann Abramczyk and Francis Winiecki; and his two brothers, Alois (and wife Marge) Abramczyk, and Chet Abramczyk; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
