Mr. Roger William Cromer went to be with the Lord Friday evening October 16, 2009. He was doing what he loved best worshiping his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, The Living God. He was born on May 18, 1953 in Forsyth County to the late Rubert and Wilma Pettycord Cromer. Roger was a member at Servants House Ministry in Lexington, NC. Prior to his membership there, he was a member at Jefferson Church of Christ in Rural Hall. Roger loved the ocean and loved to fish, but his greatest joy in the world was his Savior Jesus Christ and his family. Roger had never met a stranger. He was always eager to reach out to anyone. Roger was a sales associate for Wal-mart off of Kester Mill Rd. He is preceded in death by a sister Linda Foster. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Debbie Cromer; son, Jeremy Cromer; brother, Clyde Cromer; mother-in-law Bettye George; and several sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday October 20, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Steve Davis officiating.
