Native Wichitan Dies Here at 71
Funeral services for Lee Roy Briley, 71, of 609 N. Custer, a life long Wichita resident, who died Saturday at his home, following a heart attack, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Culbertson Mortuary.
Born in Wichita, Nov. 20, 1884, Mr. Briley had been engaged in the trucking business for many years.
Survivors, besides his wife, Josephine, include three daughters, Mrs. Betty Lee Williams, 1814 S. Palisade, Mrs. Delores McDaniels, 924 N. Main, and Cleota. Briley, of the home; a son, Clyde, 537 N. Mt. Carmel; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Beck and Mrs. Lillian McColten, both of 1828 S. Main; five brothers, Elmer, 318 W. Central, Albert, 415 Ave. C, Andrew, 1828 S. Main, William, 1935 S. Mosley and Richard, Wellington, Kan.; and five grandchildren.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
