Mrs. Nellie Jean Walker Jaco, age 84 of Beulah Road, Boaz, Alabama, died Tuesday, Nov, 11, 2014 at Elmcroft Senior Living, Huntsville.

Service was held Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church followed by interment in the adjoining Cemetery. Bro. Kevin Brooks and Bro. Gary Williams officiated. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz, Alabama is handled the arrangements. Visitation was Friday from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.

Nellie was born in Etowah County Alabama on Sept. 29, 1930 to C. L. & Leetha Thomas Walker. She was a seamstress with H.D. Lee and also a member of the David Morton Chapter of the Eastern Star for 50 years.

She is survived by her Husband: J. B. Jaco of Boaz, Son & Daughter-in-Law: Randy & Rosemary Ham of Trussville, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Robin & Steve Chambers of Huntsville, Stepson: Richard Jaco of Albertville, Stepdaughters: Brenda Temple of Gadsden and Becky Osborn of Boaz, Grandchildren: Brian & Iana Ham, Jaclyn & Allen Dutton, Katie Chambers and Rachel & Kris Bethune, Great Grandchildren: Luke Ham, Abby Ham, Jack Ham and Joe Dutton, Brother: Dwayne Kidd of Huntsville and Sisters: Goldie Walker of Huntsville and Janis Seymore of Gulf Shores. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Clarence L. & Leetha Walker, first husband: Odist Ham, Stepmother: Flora Walker, Brothers: Milah J. Walker and Travis Walker, Sisters: Belle Shirley & Jean Lokey.
