He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He retired from the Flint Fire Department in 1984 after 23 years and was a member of local #352. He was then employed by the Tambling Corp. He passed away of a suspected heart attack while in Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his wife Darlene; 3 children, Janet and husband Michael Briley, Robert and wife Lori Tambling, David Tambling. 3 grandchildren, Tony, Ashley and Morgan. Sister Dorothy Grablick.
