She was born in Bono, Arkansas, on April 9, 1948, to the late George and Lois Bryant.
Sweet Georgia was known as a loving and caring woman that would do anything for somebody in need. She was a sassy woman who enjoyed bingo, word searches and going to yard sales.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents and one sister; Johnnie Ann Swieze.
Sweet Georgia is survived by her three sons; Randy Bryant (Adela) of Miami; Dan Cowden (Christine) of Virginia Gardens, Fla., and Anthony Cowden of Grandbury, Texas; and sisters, Sue Bryant of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Ginger Hooper and Sharon Logan, both of Jonesboro; grand-children, Saraya, Daniel III, Anthony Phillip, Alexander, Zachary, Laura, Logan, Makayla Jo, Devin and Autumn Adel Georgia. Sweet Georgia also leaves behind two great-grand-children.
A funeral service was held in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial was private.
