Norman Frank Anna, 95, a longtime resident of Arnold, Maryland, died February 16, 2013 in Melbourne, Florida. He was born in Belleville, Illinois, on October 15, 1917 to the late Olivia and Peter Anna. He served as a Navy Corpsman prior to World War II before becoming a member of the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington DC. Norman also worked for the FBI and General Motors. Norman was preceded in death in 1997 by Ruth Land Anna, his wife of nearly 60 years. He is survived by his only child, Norman R. (Skip) Anna; brothers, Lee, Lloyd, and Don (Buck) Anna; four grandsons, four great-grandsons; and numerous devoted nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, at Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church, 3215 Powder Mill Rd., Adelphi, Maryland 20783.
