Born in Pleasantville, he was the son of the late Norman Lorenz and the late Marie (Haberstroh) Clifton.
He was a Branch Manager, employed by Seashore Supply Company, Inc. in Atlantic City for 44 years.
Mr. Clifton was a member of Exempt Fireman for the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department, a Special Police Officer for the Pleasantville Police Department, a member of the Keystone Masonic Lodge # 153 in Linwood, an avid gardener and he enjoyed playing golf.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Virginia (McCuIlen) Clifton, four daughters' Beverly E. Crane of Margate City, Christine A. Clifton of Mays Landing, Donna J. Morrison, and her husband Danny of Columbus, OH, and Nancy G. Lane, and her husband Rob of Little Egg Harbor Township, and one son John H. Clifton, and his wife Jaime of Elizabethton, TN.
He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and his sister Grace Parker of Northfield.
Friends may call Friday, May 21, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Adams - Perfect Funeral Homes, Inc., 1650 New Road in Northfield. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Norman Goos officiating.
Burial in the Laurel Memorial Park, Pomona.
