OLD RESIDENT DIES Sunday
Mrs. John Jagodinski Dies At 76, Rites Wednesday
Mrs. John Jagodinski, 76, died Sunday at 3:35 a.m., at her home, 1309 South 19th street. She was a resident of Manitowoc for the last 45 years.
The remains were taken to the residence from the Leschke funeral home Monday evening and the funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., from St. Mary's Catholic church. The Rev. J.M. Pociecha will officiate and burial will be at Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Jagodinski's maiden name was Veronica Petroski. She was born in Poland Feb. 14, 1857 and came to Manitowoc 45 years ago. She was married to Mr. Jagodinski 58 years ago. He died two years ago.
Survivors are seven children, Mrs. Selma Luzenski of Wisconsin Rapids, Mrs. Frank Goick of Redgranite, Mrs. Frank W. Tomchek and Miss Rose Jagodinski both of Manitowoc, Nick of West Allis, John of this city and Alois of Owen, Wis. There is one brother, John Petroski of the Town of Liberty, and a sister, Mary Banka of Hoffa Park, Wis. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mrs. Jagodinski was a member of the Holy Rosary society.
