JOHN P. JAGODINSKY
(1862 - 1945)

John P. Jagodensky of 1318 S. 17th street died Sunday night at the Holy Family hospital where he had been confined for three weeks.

Mr. Jagodensky, 83, worked for the Manitowoc Building Supply company until his retirement 15 years ago. A native of the town of Newton, he was born April 23, 1862. Forty nine years ago he was married to Sadie Plotka, who preceded him in death eight years ago.

He leaves six daughters, Mrs. Herman Techlaw, Detroit, Mrs. Harry Aregood, Chicago; Mrs. Anton Velchek, Mrs. Frank Calos and Misses Gustie and Clara Jagodensky, all of this city; six sons, Frank, Oshkosh, John, Milwaukee, and Robert, Charles, Frank and Albert of Manitowoc. Twenty three grand-children and four great grandchildren also survive.

The body was removed to the Pfeffer funeral home and will lie in state from Tuesday afternoon until the hour of funeral rites. At 8:30 a.m. on Thursday short services at the funeral home will preceded a requiem mass at 9 o'clock at St. Andrew's. The Rev. Henry Letz will be celebrant of the mass, and interment will be in Calvary cemetery.

Mr. Jagodensky was a member of the Holy Name society and the Catholic Order of Foresters. The organizations will meet at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Wednesday to recite the rosary.
