Ruth Tucker, 65, of Sumiton died Monday, March 18, 2002, at Carraway Methodist Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2002, at New Horizon Memorial Chapel with burial in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Rev. Doug Tate will officiate. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home is directing.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, March 20, 2002, at New Horizon Memorial Chapel.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil M. Tucker; three daughters, Cheryl Escajeda and her husband, Arthur of Roseville, Calif., Susan Nielsen and Marian Vance, both of Sumiton; one son, John Howard Vance III and his wife, Belinda of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Barbara Cox of Visa Lia, Calif., and Dorothy Trost of San Jose, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
