Daughter of John B. and Hanna Elizabeth (Maynard) Standley.
Married George Hunter Darby on August 15, 1908, at Spokane.
Married Ralph E. Welliever on November 26, 1919, at Spokane, Washington.

Mrs. Ethel S. Welliever, a longtime Spokane resident and civic leader, died today at her home, E 612 19th, at the age of 86.
Born in Colton, she had lived here 69 years. During World War I she went to work for Ferris & Hargrove investment house and remained as its cashier for 40 years. The firm is now Kidder-Peabody.
She retired after she was involved in an auto accident and since then was active in the Civil Theater, serving as ticket chairman for many years, and also in Gonzaga dramatic productions.
She was a member of Westminister Congregational church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Montgomery H.L. (Dorthy Darby) Smith, Spokane; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bert Mullins, Hermiston, Ore. and a brother, Tom Standley, La Grande, Ore.
