Mr. Aiken died at his home in Weathersfield following a long illness. He had been a farmer all his life. Funeral services were held at the church in Ascutney with Rev. Cecil Petrie, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Windsor officiating.
He was survived by three daughters; Mrs. Edith (Harry) Howard, Mrs. Mamie (Howard) Plummer and Mrs. Margaret (Robert) Thomas; and five sons; George, Arthur, Ernest, Clifford, and Fred.
He married first in 1877, Julia Mimeau who died in 1900; second, Nancy J. Lane of Winston, North Carolina, on July 21, 1903 in Windsor, Vermont; and third, Hattie Jarvis Laflamme September 9, 1909 in Weathersfield, Vermont. Henrietta died in 1940.
