Doug was born on February 19, 1929 in Auburn Wyoming to Matthew and Hattie Alleman. He grew up on the family homestead in Crow Creek Idaho. His family moved to Afton Wyoming so the children could attend school. He was drafted to serve in the Korean War where he was a heavy equipment operator a skill he took into civilian life. While attending Ricks College he met his sweetheart, Nedra Hale. They married on July 1, 1957.
When Doug was 18 he sold his first car to buy a CallAir plane. His father was furious. He loved flying, collecting guns and John Wayne.
Doug is survived by his wife Nedra, his sister Dorothy Skinner, his sons Jim (Donna), George (Carrie), his daughter Louise (Kevin), his grandchildren Eddie, Nakkia, Matthew, Britany, Collin and Nicholas, his great grandchildren Xander, Gaberiel, Landon and Leslie.
He was preceded in death by his son David his parents Matthew and Hattie and his brother Darrell.
