Kathy A. Fry, 66, of 454 North Perry Street, Saint Marys, Ohio, died 6:34 A.M. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at her residence. She was born September 24, 1948 in Buckland, Ohio, the daughter of Delmar and Frances (Miller) Keysor. She married Arlen “Jake” Fry on August 18, 2001 and he survives at the residence.
She is also survived by her son, Michael Link of Saint Marys; by two step-children: Helen (Brian) Rempe of Saint Marys, Fred (Rebekkah) Fry of New Bremen; by two grandchildren: Zachary Fry and Logan Rempe; by three step-grandchildren: Adeleine Whitten; Maxwell Whitten; Lucy Whitten. She is survived by her siblings: Betty (Keith) Ferrand of Buckland, Ohio; Eileen Schultz of Wapakoneta; Ted Keysor of Spencerville; Susan (Charles) Meier of Wapakoneta; Becky (Matt) Maxson of Wapakoneta; Laura (Mark) Greenbaum of Saint Marys. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Betsy Tucker of Van Wert, with whom she was very close.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; by one sister, Donna Holtzapple; by a brother-in-law, Wayne Schultz; by her son, Sam Link.
Kathy was a 1966 graduate of the Blume High School in Wapakoneta. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in Saint Marys where she was a critical care nurse in the ICU of the hospital for many years. She loved to travel, do cross-stitch work, read, and attend Saint Marys Roughrider sporting events. She will be remembered for her warm, friendly personality and her kindness to others.
Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, Pastors Bev Hurlburt, Jim Sweigart and Brian Wisner, officiants. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
