Arlene Euclide, age 93 of Kewaunee died on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center.
She was born on October 3, 1921 in Wauwatosa to the late Jeanette Tryba. She married Vincent Euclide November 27, 1943 in Casco and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2001. Arlene and Vincent owned and operated the Kewaunee Flower Shop, now Euclid's Flowers and Greenhouses from 1964 until retiring in 1976. After retiring she baby sat for neighbor children and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening as well as spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved to attend their school activities.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Carol and Jerry Vedra, MN; two sons and daughters-in-law: Richard and Linda Euclide, Forestville; James and Carol Euclid, Kewaunee; six grandchildren: Brad (Linda) Paplham; Nicole (Tom) Benson; Troy (Estella) Euclide; Andy (Holly) Euclide; Terry (Tracy) Euclid; Tracy (Donny) Ferron; sixteen great grandchildren: John and Luke Paplham; Andrew, Amy, Alison, Anika and Baby Benson; Bianca and Dulce Euclide; Austin Euclide; Calvin, Cameron, and Caitlyn Mueller; Michael, Samantha and Sabrina Ferron; two sisters-in-law: Joan King, Milwaukee; Mary Euclide, Chilton; one brother-in-law: Earl (Donna) Euclide, Appleton; a special cousin, Lois Markowski. She was preceded in death by her step-father: Norbert Thuerwachter; a brother: Gerald Thuerwachter and a special aunt: Rose Tryba.
Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee until the time of services. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Dcn Robert and Christal Wavrunek officiating. Entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum.
