Carl W. Bryan, 73, St. Joseph, Missouri died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Mosaic Life Center.

Carl was born December 28, 1940 to Frederick and Marguarite Bryan in London, Ontario, Canada.

Carl married Marian Lillian Collis on April 8, 1960.

He served in the Air Force Cadets in Canada. He started working for Anchor Serum in 1977, and retired from Boehringer-Ingelheim in 1999. Then later worked for Northwest Financial Services.

Carl was member of Ashland United Methodist Church, St. John’s Lodge #20, A.F. & A.M., Hugh De Payens Commandery #4, Knights Templar Mitchell Chapter #14, Royal Arch Masons St. Joseph Council #9 and Royal & Select Masters Moila Shrine. He also loved fly fishing and tying flies. He was an avid fan of the Hamilton Tiger Cats, Minnesota Vikings, and Toronto Maple Leafs. In 1977 he helped start the St. Joseph Hockey Association with Jane Yantis.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: wife, Marian L. Bryan of the home; son, Dennis Frederick Carl Bryan (Bobette), St. Joseph, Missouri; daughter, Catherine M. Clark (Brent), Olathe, Kansas; grandsons, Patrick, Zachariah, and Adrian Bryan, St. Joseph, Missouri; brothers, Wayne and Lionel Bryan, Canada; and sister, Deborah Ross, Fort Smith, Arkansas and several aunts, uncles and cousins

Healing Farewell: 1:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
