Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore Hendricks will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Neuman, nee Veronica Helenick, was born Jan. 3, 1897 in Poland, daughter of the late Frank and Rosella Pachinski Helenick. She immigrated to United States with her parents at age of nine years, the family settling in Doylestown, Wis. She was married to Joseph T. Neuman Feb. 15, 1915 in Doylestown. The couple moved to Manitowoc in 1939. Mr. Neuman preceded her in death Dec. 28, 1972.
Survivors include seven sons and daughters-in-law, Lester and Mabel Neuman of Wisconsin Rapids, Verlin and Audrey Neuman of Milwaukee, Donald and Caroline Neuman of Sheboygan, Alvin and Violet Neuman of Manitowoc, Mark and Joyce Neuman of Milwaukee, Raymond and Mary Lou Neuman of Green Bay and Robert and Carol Neuman of Manitowoc; three daughters and sons-in-law, Myrtle and Elmer Olm and Joann and Rueben Ploeckelman of Milwaukee and Dolores and Terry Rank of Manitowoc; a brother, Anthony Helenick and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Gillespie of Seattle, Wash., 51 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. A son, two daughters, two brothers, and three sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, where a prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
