Mrs. Wilhelmy, the former Mary Neumann, was born Jan. 21, 1870 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Steffens Neumann. She attended St. Boniface Parochial School and Nov. 13, 1890 was married to Ernst Wilhelmy. He was a carpenter-contractor and died in 1937.
Surviving her are six daughters, Miss Hattie at home, Mrs. George Stephani and Mrs. Francis Schuerell of Manitowoc, Mrs. Hollis Webster of Milwaukee, Mrs. Ralph Houghton of Kenosha and Mrs. Kenneth Coffin of Nantucket Island, Mass.; two sons, Lincoln of Manitowoc and Leonard of Sacramento, Calif.; a brother, John of DePere; a sister, Mrs. John Zalusky of Milwaukee; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 pm Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm by St. Theresa Altar Society of which she was a member.
