Eileen C. Neuser, age 65, of 1708 Manila St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning Dec. 21, 2002 at Holy Family Memorial Meidcal Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Camillus Janas O.F.M. Cremation has taken place with burial of the cremated remains at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Eileen was born on Jan. 15, 1937 in Manitowoc, the daughter of the late Raymond and Anne Engeldinger Harlow. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1955. Eileen also graduated in 1958 with a RN degree from Holy Family School of Nursing. Eileen married Laerence Neuser on Aug. 8, 1959 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She was employed as a registered nurse at Holy Family Hospital and St. Mary’s Home. Eileen was the founder of the local Lupus support group in Manitowoc County. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and the Manitowoc Yacht Club Auxiliary. Eileen was an avid game player and enjoyed doing puzzles and reading, as well as an accomplished stained glass artist.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Neuser, Manitowoc; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Terri Neuser, Racine; one daughter, Kren Neuser, Oak Creek; two grandchildren, Natalie and Kelsie; six sisters and three brothers-in-law, Mary Tuesbeg, Manitowoc, Rita (Fritz) Greenwald, Illinois, Jean (Matthew) Kasberger, Sheboygan, Benita Ewald, Manitowoc, Grace (Donald) Markwardt, Manitowoc, Inez McDermott, Manitowoc; six brothers-in-law, Rev. John Neuser, Mishicot, Paul (Margaret) Neuser, Manitowoc, Dr. Kenneth (Carol) Neuser, Green Bay, James Neuser, Manitowoc Richard (Eileen) Neuser, Manitowoc, Randolph (Sandra) Neuser, Watertown; three sisters-in-la, Marian (Jerome) Keehan, Manitowoc, Roseanne (Thomas) Pagels, New Berlin, Suzanna (Thomas) Kuffel, Sturgeon Bay. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Patrick (Nancy) Harlow, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Harlow, brother-in-law, Joseph McDermott and a sister-in-law, Judy Neuser.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Andrew Catholic Church on Thursday morning, Dec. 26, 2002, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
Memorials may be made to St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
