Asenath Roberts, daughter of Asenath (née Tucker) and Revolutionary War veteran Daniel Roberts, was born on 29 April 1788 in Cornish, then in Cheshire County (now in Sullivan County), New Hampshire.

Asenath Roberts married first Stephen Tucker, junior. The couple had three children—

• John Tucker (1813 – 1855)
• Seth Tucker (1813 – 1835)
• Lois Tucker Hatt (1821 – 1886)

Stephen Tucker died reportedly in 1822.

Asenath Tucker and Conrad Zittle were married on 7 April 1823 in Youngstown, Niagara County, New York. The couple had two children—

• Daniel Zittle (1824 – 1849)
• Susanna Zittle McCollum (1826 – 1892)

After the death of Conrad Zittle in 1850, Asenath Zittle was enumerated in elder daughter Lois Hatt's household in Porter, Niagara County. Asenath Zittle apparently migrated with the Hatt family in the early 1850s to Van Buren County, Iowa. In her 1855 will, Asenath Zittle left her farm in Washington Township, Van Buren County, to her daughter Lois Hatt, "for the express purpose of maintaining and educating the heirs of the said Lois."

Asenath Zittle's burial place is not known.
