Edwin M. (Happy) Niespodziany, age 81, formerly of 417 Riverview Dr., Manitowoc, died Monday morning, February 28, 1994, at the Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am. Thursday, March 3, 1994, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Roman Zbieranski, O.F.M. with burial to follow at the Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born July 2, 1912, at Newton, son of the late Martin and Josephine Waltoa Niespodziany. He married the former Elizabeth Belonger on June 9, 1937, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He began his employment as a milkman for the Fischl Dairy Company of Manitowoc for 29 years, until his retirement in 1977. Mr. Niespodziany was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #706 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Deacon Robert Drobka, Manitowoc; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Thomas Niespodziany and his special friend Robin, Green Bay, Paul and Donna Niespodziany, San Diego, Calif.; seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by a brother Roman, and three sisters, Elizabeth, Helen and Hattie.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 1994, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by Deacon Robert Drobka.
