Funeral services for Joseph J. Noll, 63, of 1311 Maniola St., Manitowoc, who died at the home Friday morning, will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Henry Letz will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Noll was born at Chilton Dec. 23, 1896, son of the late Jacob and Theresa Becker Noll. He came to Manitowoc 34 years ago. Mr. Noll married Charlotte Mielke Aug. 28, 1923. He was a veteran of World War I, serving as seaman first class with the Navy from May 14, 1918, until Sept. 30, 1921. Before his retirement 12 years ago, Mr. Noll was a hardware salesman for 30 years with Pritzlaff Hardware Co. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, Manitowoc Chapter of the Izaak Walton League, Eagles Aerie and Drews-Bleser American Legion Post.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Daniel Gleason, of Reseda, Calif., a son, Robert, of Menasha, a brother, George, of Corpus Christi, Tex., a sister, Miss Lucille Noll, of Pasadena, Calif., and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited by the Knights of Columbus at 8 p.m. The Drews-Bleser Legion Post will conduct services at graveside.
