Age 90, formerly of Whitelaw died Monday, peacefully on her husband's birthday with her loving family at her side at Northland Lodge in Two Rivers. Marion was born in the town of Franklin, daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Lemberger) Hill. On August 26, 1944 Marion married John R. Mayerl Sr. at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Whitelaw. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1992. She was a co-owner of Koeppel & Mayerl Catering for many years until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, a fifty year member of Christian Mothers and Whitelaw Senior Citizens. She loved playing cards, gardening, dancing, going to the casino and especially enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s activities. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: John R. Mayerl Sr.; two sons: Jerry Mayerl; Jack Mayerl; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Leroy (Georgiana) Hill; Raymond Hill; one sister and two brothers-in-law: Shirley (Wilfred) Denk; Richard Muench; mother and father-in-law: Frank (Emily Weiss) Mayerl; 5 sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law: Helen Scott; Marie (Bill) Delsman; Paul Mayerl; Rose Mayerl; Marge Spanbauer; Joe (Marvis) Mayerl.
