Betty Jane Brooks (Bowers), 81, of Caddo Mills passed away on November 27, 2014.
She was born on August 19, 1933 in Hunt Co. to Robert and Mattie Bowers. Betty grew up in Greenville and attended Greenville High School. She married Louis Lowry Brooks on April 2, 1955 in Greenville.
Betty is survived by her sons, Marshall Ellis Brooks and wife Cindy of Greenville, Melvil Louis Brooks and wife Kim of Rockwall; twin sons, Larry Sherman Brooks and wife Patricia of Caddo Mills and Gary Thurman Brooks of Greenville; grandchildren, Johnathan Robert Brooks and Jennifer Nicole Brooks.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Lowry Brooks; brother, Joseph William Bowers and sisters, Overta V. King and Margie Lou Quattlebaum.
There will be a visitation from 6-8 pm on Saturday, November 29, 2014 and funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 30, 2014 both at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville.
Interment will follow service at McWright Cemetery in Greenville. Honorary pallbearer will be grandson, Jonathan Brooks.
