Born in Marblehead, daughter of the late Horace E. and Fannie M. (Plummer) Snow, she was a lifelong resident of this town.
She was a member of St. Stephen's United Methodist Church of Marblehead and was president of the Spanish War Veterans Auxiliary of Marblehead.
Surviving are a son, Herbert E. Townsend of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie A. Haines and Mrs. Carrie M. Hastings, both of Marblehead; a brother, Horace W. Snow of Marblehead; a grandson, Philip C. Townsend of Houston.
Funeral services will be held in the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m.
