Charles A. Brower, Barber 41 Years, Dies After Illness
Charles A. Brower, 81, died at his home at 303 West Donaldson street this morning following a seven-week illness. He had been a barber in Sullivan for 41 years and was a member of Indian Prairie Baptist church.
The body was taken to Billman Mortuary, where friends may call beginning Tuesday noon. Funeral arrangements are pending.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Houpt of Indianapolis and Mrs. Doris Stang of Dayton, O.; one granddaughter, * * Houpt; two brothers, George Brower of Turner, Oregon, and Elmer Brower of Freelandville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Charles A. Brower, 81, who died Monday morning following a seven-week illness, will be held at Billman Mortuary with the Rev. R.E. Pavy officiating.
Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Brower was a barber in Sullivan for over 41 years and was a member of Indian Prairie Baptist church.
