BAILEY HARRIET F.
Formerly of Edgewood, more recently a resident of Canterbury Place; on Sunday, November 21, 2010, at age 101. For 50 years Miss Bailey had a home-based business baking specialty desserts, including exquisitely decorated wedding cakes, for private customers and the Women's Exchange. A person of great faith and love of family, dear "Aunt Hoit's" gentle wisdom, care and grace will live on in all of us. Survived by her sister-in-law Dorothy Bailey (Robert); nieces and nephews William, Elizabeth, Susan, and Jack Bailey (Nancy), Judy Hanselman (Ray), and Amy Krusey (Kenneth); also survived by many loving great- and great-great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bede Church, 509 S. Dallas Ave., Pittsburgh PA, 15208; and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at Canterbury Place, 310 Fisk Street, Pittsburgh PA, 15201. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Bede Church or to the Benevolent Care Fund at Canterbury Place.
