MUSCATINE, Iowa - Michael E. Adams, 61, of Muscatine, died on Monday, July 25, 2011, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
A graveside service will be 10:00 am Friday, July 29, 2011 at Island Cemetery.The family requests that memorials be made to the family in care of Melissa Adams. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Michael was born on June 22, 1950, in Muscatine, the son of Ellis Harding and Louise Lichtenwald Adams. He married Janet Gailene Franks on August 7, 1971, in Muscatine. She preceded in death.
He enjoyed being with his grandchildren and his dachshund dogs.
Those left to honor his memory include two sons, Ellis Adams and wife, Rachael, of Muscatine, Andrew Adams and wife, Jennie, of Muscatine; one daughter, Melissa Adams, of Muscatine; eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Virgil Smith; wife; one granddaughter, Brittany Knox.
