I was adopted at birth. My birth mother pasted on on 07/04/2009, she was one of 13 childern of Walter & Elizabeth (Ryals) Grimes of Alamo, Georgia. I have made contact with two of my 4 silbings, and after 38 yr.s of searching for my roots (51 yr.s old now), I can start with my family tree. My true family will always be my adopted parents Herbert Lamar Lowery and Etter Mae Sheppard, to which have pasted on, they where my parents and we love each other, they instill great things inwith me that would make my birth mother proud of her son, me. Opal was married to Charles M. Sears, and had three childern, one died at birth, they left and married to J. Lamar Couch to which she had my other two half silbings. As far it go's I do not have a name of my birth father. I am searching for my birth moms 12 silbings name I have all but three, their are only 3 left living that I have not spoken to as of now. Plus searching for any info. of her side of the tree and of his. Walter & Elizabeth (Ryals) Grimes. I am knew at this. thank you. Rick Lowery
