Beverly Jean Byrne, 81, Delavan, WI, died at Rosewood Manor on Tuesday, May 20, 2008. Beverly was born on Jan. 1, 1927, in Elkhorn, WI, daughter of Lucius and Alice (Davidson) Smith. Beverly was a 1944 graduate of Delavan High School and a 1947 graduate of Palmer-Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She married Howard Byrne, on Aug. 27, 1947, in Delavan. Beverly was a nurse and home mother at the Wisc. School of the Deaf for 32 years. She was a longtime member of Delavan United Methodist church.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Howard of Ridgestone Village, Delavan; five daughters; one brother, Donald Smith of Delavan; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Laura.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008, at the DELAVAN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, with the Rev. Brian Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
