Bob Simons received his bachelor of science degree from Baylor University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental School-Houston in 1963. He married in 1959. Upon graduating from Dental School, he proudly served in the U. S. Air Force at Cannon Air Force Base, Clovis, NM. He and his wife moved to Bay City in 1965, where he began his dental practice from which he retired in 2000. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church, Bay City. He had the great respect of all who knew him for his admirable qualities both as a Christian and as a man, a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
