John Wayne Pinion, 28, of Sledge, died Friday, July 26, 2002, near Sledge from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Graveside services were held Sunday, July 28, at 2 p.m. at Longtown Cemetery. John Parker officiated the service. Kimbro Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Pinion, son of Gary Lee and Shirley Lee Forsythe Pinion of Sledge, was born July 5, 1974, in Marks.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include two brothers, James William Pinion of Connecticut and Gary Charles Pinion of Arkansas; his grandparents, Elizabeth and Wilson Pinion of Sledge and Leeone and Clyde Teuton of Jackson, Tenn.
