Mrs. Viola Addis died Sunday, December 30, 1934 at her home, 1724 Clay street. She was born at Westmoreland, Kan., November 18, 1880, and was a member of the First Methodist church and Eastern Star at Westmoreland. She was the widow of the late Charles R. Addis, who died in June, 1926. She had lived in Topeka twenty-five years.
Surviving are two daughters, Charlene Addis and Mrs. Mildred Thiry; and a granddaughter, Martha Jean Thiry, all of the home address; three sisters, Mrs. Owen Thomas, Topeka; Mrs. Juanita Egelston, Atwood, Kan., and Mrs. Jennie B. Lee, Pueblo, Colo., and two brothers, Homer C. Pressler, Louisville, Kan., and Charles A. Pressler, Westmoreland.
