Charles Clark Allenbrand, 86, of Pottsboro, Texas passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 of congestive heart failure, at Texas Presbyterian Hospital-WJN in Sherman, Texas. Clark was born July 12, 1928 on the farm near Clarksdale, Missouri. The first son of Charles Calvin and Margaret Olive (Clark) Allenbrand. He graduated from Mound City, Missouri High School in 1946 then served two years in the US Navy on the USS Valley Forge. Clark married Betty Jean Yount on September 11, 1948. Clark retired after 31 years working for Sperry New Holland. He was a Mason and longtime member of St. John the Apostle Episcopal Church. Clark liked spending time with his family, listening to country music and eating enchiladas. He was an avid striper fisherman. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2 P.M. at St. John the Apostle Episcopal Church in Pottsboro, Texas.
