Ralph Raymond Siferd, 66, died at his home in Black Diamond Friday. He was born in Wabash, Ind. and moved to Nemiskam in 1909, and to Black Diamond in 1927. He was employed as caretaker of the Turner Valley High School. Surviving are his wife, Florence Marie; four sons, Harold, Black Diamond, Charles and Donald of Calgary and John, Oxbow, Sask.; two daughters, Mrs. James (Vera) McLeod, Swift Current, Sask., and Mrs. Dale (Doris) Brown, Midnapore; two brothers, Frost of Portland and Glen of Logansport, Ind., a sister, Mrs. Carl (Olive) Pauley of Michigan City and 10 grandchildren. Funeral service is to be held today at 2 p.m. in the Black Diamond United Church with Rev. S. R. Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Mclnnis and Holloway are handling funeral arrangements.
