Walter C. Stevens
Randolph -- Walter C. Stevens, 85, of R.D. 2, Randolph, died Friday evening (Oct. 20, 1961) in Olean General Hospital.
Most of his life was spent in this area as a farmer. Mr. Stevens also had been employed in Jamestown a number of years ago.
He was married to the former Bessie Dean April 9, 1903. She died in September 1945.
Surviving are a son, Russell D. Stevens, R.D., Randolph; two daughters, Mrs. Zona Mrus, Hamburg, and Mrs. Eleanor Fuller, Jamestown; two granddaughters, Mrs. Carol Anderson and Miss Camela Fuller, Jamestown; one great-grandchild, Julie Anderson, Jamestown and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Myers Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Whitcomb of the Steamburg E.U.B. Church officiating. Burial will be in Steamburg Cemetery.
