She was the daughter of the late W.D. and Mildred Mae Blevins Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Shope, her granddaughter, Amanda Sellers, her brother, J.D. Moore, and her sisters, Winnie Mae Crisp, Dottie Millsaps, and Shirley Moore. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Sam Shope, Jr. and his wife, Brenda, Paul Shope and his wife, Linda, all of Robbinsville, NC, and Daniel Shope and his wife, Amanda, of Gastonia, NC; her daughter and son in law, Libby Sellers and Doug Bright of Robbinsville, NC; and her sister, Wilma Moose of Robbinsville, NC. She has five grandchildren, Travis Sellers and his wife, Tobi, Keith Shope, Kayla Shope, Katie Shope, and Brian Crisp, and 3 great grandchildren, Tyler Crisp, Tanner Williams, and Austin Crisp.
