SANGER - Dan Orick, 72, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005, in Denton.
Mr. Orick married Lynda McCormick on Aug. 28, 1954, in Muleshoe. Mr. Orick was a member of the Optimist Club in Amarillo and Phoenix.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Danita Tucker of Dripping Springs, Jerrie Smith of Carrollton and Tennie Jones of Sanger; two sons, Leon Orick of Amarillo and Terry Orick of Humble; four sisters, Nadra McCormick Robison and Imogene Lewis, both of Phoenix, Mina Skipper of Lubbock and Anita Shelburne of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
