Great-great-great-great-great grandson of William Sellers

Descendant of Major Edward Dale and Col. Peter Presly of Jamestowne Colony, VA.

Served in the Pacific Theatre during WWII and was awarded 14 Battle Stars. He served on the U.S.S. Morris (DD-417) and later the U.S.S. Blue (DD-744). Among the action he participated in while on the U.S.S. Morris included the Battles of Coral Sea, Midway, Santa Cruz Islands, Guadalcanal, the Aleutian Operation. He also participated in bombardments for the landings at Luzon and Leyte Gulf, P.I.

National President General of the Sons of the American Revolution in 1977.
