This Harry B. McMaster's middle name was also "Burton." His full name, "Harry Burton McMaster," is cited in the 1887 published list of admitted cadets to West Point. It is stated he was admitted "1886 - Wis." His obituary states that "Harry McMaster for a time was a cadet at West Point." The above mentioned Harry Burton McMaster of Ohio would have been age 12 at the time, and there is no evidence that he ever lived in Wisconsin. 1
